Music therapy can involve:

– Playing instruments together
– Songwriting
– Improvising music freely

– Playing and singing songs together

The aims and outcomes of music therapy depend entirely on the needs and wishes of the client. Sessions may focus on developing communication skills, encouraging engagement with others or with music, play, relaxation, decreasing anxiety, amongst other things.
